A question for Plumber London

Jack had been waiting patiently for two weeks when he finally decided it was high time to call the company and ask them if the position of a plumber was still available. He had received a phone call from the company two weeks before. A nice lady informed him that they would be looking for an employee soon and asked if the application he had sent them several months before was still valid. He had sent the CV to the Plumber London email address just like that, hoping they would need it one day. He had explained to the secretary that the CV was not up-to-date but he would send the new one as soon as possible. Then he did as he had told, and waited for the lady to call him again. Of course, she had not promised him anything, she just explained that MAYBE they would invite him for an interview. Two weeks had passed, and Jack finally decided to call the office again. He introduced himself and asked if the position was still available. Unfortunately, the woman told him that the man who was supposed to leave the job would stay with them anyway. Well, what a pity! Working for Plumber London would really be something! But he promised himself that we would try some time later again. Perhaps they could offer him another position.
